Element Palmdale

The front desk staff is lovely and the place has nice perks like free EV charging. Their beds are very nice. Breakfast selection and the gym are pretty good for this type of hotel. The rooms, though relatively new, are starting to show some wear, however, and it wasn't all that clean. The walls are also quite thin and the doors slam loudly. The AC in some rooms is positioned to blast on your face while in bed. The motion sensor in the bathroom is temperamental. I experienced other shortcomings my last stay: my room had no Kleenex, lotion, or shampoo.

I don't have a rating for the rooms as I didn't get to stay in one. I made my reservation for 2 nights there. I was driving out from Las Vegas and I was running late for my interview. When I got there they told me they couldn't accept my card. It was my Business debit card and I've never had an issue with it before anywhere else! It's not a prepaid card. Yes, I can load it by other means like cash deposit, but even at local banks there are these things called ATMs if you've ever heard of them before.. idk might be a new thing they just started, where guess what?? you can load cash into your account This is my UBER business Debit. It's not a cash app or Zelle or like any of those other cards! I understand that there are certain cards not accepted in certain places, I do.. but at the same time also, they didn't even try, so I had to try to find another hotel nearby to make sure I was on time for my interview. I wish I had been able to see one of the rooms tho! that would have been nice! As a Titanium member I do make an effort to try new hotels so I can recommend the best ones to my friends/family and colleagues! Marriott is my chosen brand!

I loved staying here so much that I hope coincidence leads me to come back one day. Lovely hotel!

Nice clean rooms. The bed frames must go. They stick out too far beyond the mattress, you injure your shins on them? Noisy HVAC system.
