Maria's Alterations in Palm Coast FL

Maria is amazing, with a talent second to none. She altered my daughter's (Michelle)bridesmaid's gown that had YARDS of chiffon. It looked like it was off the rack. Absolute perfection. She is professional, friendly and very reasonable with prices. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately, this business was recommended to me through a few friends. They said how helpful the woman was and how she was going to give us the best deal in town. I only needed a few inches off the bottom of the dress and a bustle. She was never straight forward with pricing, then slapped us with an $850.00 bill. I also want to say while she was very sweet and knew what she was doing, when it came to pricing she was very vague and did not ever clearly state a price until it was dress pick up time. I had brought it to many other alteration shops in Palm Coast up to the Jacksonville area and got price estimates of $350-400. And this was almost double. We called to see if there was some kind of miscommunication and there wasnt any budge, she was not willing to work with us and essentially told us the work was already done. Just to be warned, this alterations shop may be willing to help, for double or more of the cost of what another local business could do. I brought my dress to Bridal By Agnes because I was so upset with this bill, and she said this was only a $350 job at the most.

I was not aware the business is located at her actual residence until I showed up to the address listed on Google. It wouldve been nice to know that since I drove a distance to get to her. I sat in front of her house and called her 3 times with only an answering machine saying shes not available. Mind you it says shes open until 6pm on saturdays. My time is valuable on the weekends as hers is too. Not right. Will not return.
