An Angel was put in our path today. His name is Sam! The kindness that was shown to us brought tears to my eyes. Josh did a fantastic job with my initial desperate phone call to Transmax on a Friday afternoon at 4:55pm! We set up an appointment time and he made me feel like I was in good hands. And I was! i called today to get a quote on a 4L65 rebuild due to sloppy shifts and terrible torque converter shudder. the gentlemen on the phone actually owned the same exact car as me and talked me through and explained all the upgrades they typically install on their chevy 4-speed rebuilds to ensure longevity and fixing the common weak points of this transmission. i wasnt ready to start the rebuild process today so he kindly recommended to me a cheap anti-shudder product i can use in the short-term to hold me over. i also really liked that they offer an open-book policy. they let you know and physically see all of the parts that they are installing in your transmission so you know exactly what you are getting. EDIT: I ended up not getting my transmission rebuilt here, but it really sounded like they knew what they were talking about and i'm thankful for the advice and kindness they offered over the phone.
