The rooms look just like the pictures posted. Its nice for a budget hotel Rooms: The rooms are small but okay for the price Nearby activities: The boardwalk and a ton of shops and food places Safety: No problems with safety Walkability: Walking distance to boardwalk and surrounding shops

I have to say it was a decent experience. The condo style apartments were spacious & somewhat clean, upon entering room's someone left a fresh piece of gum on the nightstand. Customer service was average. However for the first 2 1/2 days there was no hot water or barely getting warm. It was a bit chilly the beginning of the week, so a hot shower would have been nice. Other than that I love the Ambassador Inn. I will be back & this will be where I come to. Just one street from the beach & boardwalk. Great Job Ambassador Inn. Safety: Security is always somewhere close by. Not much of a party scene, so, very little crime. I left my car doors unlocked 2 days straight (not on purpose) I feel very safe in Ocean City. Walkability: I like walking, so, to me you can definitely walk around easily. The Ambassador Inn is right across the street from the boardwalk & beach. Excellent location Food & drinks: Food good, most seafood restaurants do not open up until 4pm & close by 9pm or 10pm

Cons: DIRTY, DIRTY, DIRTY. Old sheets and worn out bed. Tiny dim lit bathroom. Rickety stairwell. Questionable all around. Immediately walked and out and left to find another place for the night.

THIS HOTEL IS A SCAM!! TOTAL SCAM!!! Paid the deposit (half) on a credit card. Arrived late at night, so had to check in at the sister hotel (Tidelands). PAID THE REMAINING deposit in CASH! WAS HANDED THE KEY TO OUR ROOM! Arrived home 5 days later only to find that they also charged the credit card on file the remaining deposit! THIS HOTEL IS UNWILLING TO FIX THE MISTAKE! Out $875.00 BECAUSE I WAS CHARGED TWICE!! If I hadnt paid cash the night of arrival, would they have even given me the key?? They wont check front desk cameras that show me paying with cash! THE PLACE IS A TOTAL SCAM!! DO NOT FALL FOR THIS!!! IT IS ALSO VERY UNTIDY! SCAM!!!
