        The UPS store on Lake Street in Oak Park is always my go-to when shipping packages. The team there is very helpful. They manage the line quickly and offer useful advice regarding getting your package to its destination in the most efficient and cost effective way.

        Service was good and employee was helpful. However I was charged $1.98 for a two page black/white print job. This file was in my email but their kiosk was not working so they had me emailed to them. When I inquired about price I was told using the computer is even more expensive. I wasnt able to find their fees or prices online so I cant even be sure I was charged correctly. I print randomly for work on the go at OM or FedEx never paid more than $0.21 a page. Very surprising Im glad I didnt have a large print order this time.

        Awesome People Awesome Place, I Went In There And Had 2 Use Their Computer To Print Up A Return Shipping And Packing Label That Was Sent By Email, U Can Use The Store Computer For .75 cents, After Finding My Email On The Screen My Mind Went Totally Blank As How To Print It Up And I Only Had A Few Seconds To Print It Out Before My Session Ended And I Have To Pay Again, I Panicked A Lil Bit, Nevertheless A Employee Saw Me And Without Hesitation He Jumped Right On In There And Took Care Of It 4 Me As Well As Shipped The Package Off 4 Me, What A Great Employee What A Great Store!!!

        I will give this place a zero if I can. I was harassed by the manager today. The cashier didn't know if she needed my ID since the package was for someone else. I gave her my ID and asked her not to use my address and info because it's for another person. They wanted to know if I was her caregiver or what's my relationship to the sender. I asked if they needed to put all this in the computer and she said no.The manager started asking me more questions and telling the cashier to go by her gut feeling if she should ask for my ID or not. She wanted to know if I had a bomb in my packages. Then ask me if it's tax information in there. I told her nothing was dangerous or hazardous in any envelope. I asked her not to ask me if it was tax information in the envelope, that was very personal, and didn't feel comfortable sharing that. I told her that if it was important precautions and for safety reasons of these questions, why not have a scanner to protect from a bomb or any danger. I did not like how they left me feeling.

      Apologies that you felt it was negative experience. We follow company policies - valid ID to tender shipments and contents description are both required for safety and security reasons.Asking about contents is required to determine prohibited documents (such as money orders/cash), but also to advise you about risks of damage or loss when the envelope is not sturdy enough. In your case, it is our experience that Manila Paper Envelopes with Metal Clasp Closure often do not survive well in UPS’ package-optimized systems. For example, it’s tax time so a tear-resistant poly mailer is best for identity documents, or rigid mailer to prevent wrinkles in sentimental photos. On the other hand, a lower quality paper mailer for a birthday card only, might be an acceptable risk of damage for some customers. Nevertheless, we appreciate your feedback and apologies for any misunderstanding about our intentions.
