This place is wonderful and I highly recommend it to anyone wanting proper Italian cuisine. The owners and staff are so friendly and the food is always freshly made. We come here at least once a week! It's become my second home!

We've been to Grano Trattoria 2 times, but despite nice people and pretty good food, I don't think we'll go back because the prices just don't meet expectation. This go around the mains were VERY overpriced. We ordered two fish dishes (branzino special and the orata off the menu) and both came out with a tiny fillet and few slices of potato and were priced close to $30. We're used to paying this for a fish dish, but unless at a fine dining where you're paying for a really exquisite dish, you should get more than 3 bites out of the meal! My Orata was good (not great) but I would not order it again. Thank God I had ordered the prosciutto and melon as a first course and my husband the Grano Salad (both very good) because we would have left hungry otherwise (and I'm not a big eater). Our first time there we also had ordered our 2 year old a small dish of penne and red sauce which was not on the menu but the waitress set out to accommodate her which was nice. She enjoyed but that was not enough, so we ordered another, not realizing each were priced at $9 for a tiny half pasta which was not even enough to satisfy a toddler! The pricing also made no since the full pasta w/tomato and basil was $11. In the end we paid $18 for a toddler's penne! A bit much. Like I said, it's a cute place, nice people, but the prices can't carry the food (minus maybe the apps), so unfortunately we won't go back.
