Alberto's Pizza and Cheesesteak

Not exactly the tastiest NYC pizza joint I've ever been too. The pizza sauce is bland and the cheese taste like plastic. On top of that, their pizza isn't $1 per slice anymore either, price has gone up to $1.50+tax. Workers look unhappy and would rather be elsewhere. On the plus side, it's open 24/7 now.

Best pizza I tasted for one dollar. Nice spacious area, clean and they have free wifi.

The pizza was fine for one dollar a slice. What was not fine, however, was how this establishment tried to rip us off for the two dollars that we spent on it, refusing to give us the pizza we paid for until we insisted upon it. I am truly afraid of what other dishonest and immoral practices a restaurant may do if they are willing to go to such great lengths to steal two dollars from a couple. Yes, the pizza is cheap, but there are plenty of other $1 pizza locations in NYC, which will not try to rip you off. It's not worth the trouble to go to a low class, scammy place like this.

Not all pizza is created equal. There is a reason this pizza is a $1. Wasn't all that. However, the place is roomy enough to sit as you please.
