Mary and her colleague showed up promptly at the agreed time and got straight to work. Pool was drained quickly. Tile was cleaned diligently. Then the entire pool was acid washed and cleansed.
Before the cleaning, our large pool was pea green. Having bought the house recently, I was not sure when last the water had been drained. I'd wasted hundreds of dollars on chemicals trying to get it looking good. There was also a thick calcium like scale line on the tile.
Overall a very pleasant experience with personable people. Pool now looks like a new build.

This review is regarding specific people in this company, namely Mary. I called around for pool draining quotes, our new home has a pool that needed to be drained. I called Mary with Arizona Pool Drain and she suggested I get a hold of a plumber she knows to have the drains checked to prevent a backup in the house, she quoted me $525 for the pool drain and cleaning service and even offered a 10% military discount for my service, I liked the quote so I booked the services. The plumber she recommended was great and did all of the work at half the normal price since Mary was my referral. Mary and a helper showed up on time the following day and got to work. When it came to paying, she said it would cost $550 with the discount already included. I had only taken $540 out to cover the quote she gave me on the phone, so I was a bit shocked at the price jump. I paid $540 and she left. I did not get a receipt or anything. My popup drains were not cleaned so all of the water I put into the pool is back to being green. My new neighbors were given a quote from Mary for $450 and their pool is LARGER than mine. I gave them the number to my pool guy (I didn't use him because of the plumbers discount for 'knowing' Mary), I would have felt horrible if their experience was like mine. My pool guy is working to fix the water in my pool again when all he was expecting to have to do was start up the pool with chemicals. I feel ripped off and I would not recommend this company who takes advantage of veterans.

Clay is absolutely phenomenal. Let me tell you why.
We arrived home (unscheduled) after being gone for a few months. Our pool was green, murky, and had algae flora floating on top. I contacted our pool service company (which we had used for over ten years) and received no response. According to a friend, the pool had been more green then blue since July.
We went to Leslie’s Pool Supply and purchased $179 in chemicals and after 24 hours the pool was now a turquoise/teal color and cloudy. I called a new service to come by, and after $200 more in chemicals, it was turquoise and cloudy, would not retain free chlorine, and could not get the PH up to the correct level. It was 09/25/13 and the temperature was still in the high 90s. EVERYONE told us that we could not drain the plaster pool and have it acid washed due to the heat EXCEPT Clay.
Clay had the pool drained in 3 ½ hours, pressured washed, sanitized, and acid washed in under five hours, we began filling our pool that night (thanks to good water pressure and two faucets) it was up to the tile line before the temperature came close to 85 degrees (9:30 am). The pool is now blue and beautiful. The prices were reasonable. Clay was diligent, and efficient. He charged exactly what was quoted. We highly recommend Arizona Pool Drain and Clay.
