Mathnasium

My daughter was behind in her math. She had taken advanced and honors classes. The material was not taught well, and there wasnt enough homework to really master the skills. She is going off to college next year to study engineering, so she had to do something to make it possible to accomplish her dream. In a year at Mathnasium, she has gone from being behind to literally doing college level math. She is prepared, and more importantly, she is confident in her math abilities. The people have been encouraging and wonderful to work with. My only regret is that we didnt start sooner.

I've had 4 kids go through this specific mathnasium. Unfortunately since the owner change they've dropped the ball. My daughter was made uncomfortable as a tutor used his middle finger towards her. I had to email them twice before they finally reached out to me. He said it might be a cultural difference. WHAT? I asked for an early termination on my contract since my daughter does not want to come back since the tutor who used his middle finger is the manager. Well I asked for the owner to return my call. It's almost 1 1/2 month. I've yet to hear from the owner. But am still getting charged. My contract ends next month, it's not about the money, it's the lack of communication and the lack of taking responsibility. God know what else is going on there my 8 year old daughter refused to go back.

My son is smoothly progressing and learning a new concept every visit. I also like the feedback that I get every visit. So far, overall, we have a great experience!
