AC went out during the heatwave on a Sunday. They called us back quickly, were able to see us same day (overtime was reasonable under the circumstances!). They overnighted the part and had our unit fixed by Tuesday afternoon. Excellent service and could not recommend them more! Service: A/C system repair

We had our heat pump fan go out on us and contacted Polk Mechanical to see about getting someone out.  The owner, Steve, was super responsive via phone and text and got us scheduled for a service call within two days despite all AC folks being slammed currently.  Steve was then able to come out a little earlier than originally planned and had our issue diagnosed and fixed very quickly and for a reasonable price.  Steve was even kind enough to fill out a form for our home warranty company to help us get our reimbursement for repairs.I would highly recommend calling Steve and Polk Mechanical for any heating/cooling issues.  Steve will be my AC guy from now on and I'm even having him get me a quote for a split AC system for my garage as well.Thank you, Steve!!

Polk installed 2 ductless heat pump units and an external unit for our house at the beginning of December. Our house is always at the perfect temp now, even during the record lows we recently had, and our december/January PUD bills ended up being cheaper than any other year we lived here.Every step of the way, the owner Steve was very responsive and honest. His initial quote came in about 25-30% cheaper than the other two I had gotten from other larger companies, and he was honest about the maintenance required and didn't try to upsell me on anything I didn't need, including unnecessary service packages. The two workers that came by to do the install were friendly and did a great job as far as I can tell.I can't recommend them enough. Do your due diligence, call a few HVAC companies in the area, but make sure you call Polk before deciding on anything!The only caveat is, with current shipping conditions, after the initial estimate, it took a couple months for our equipment to arrive to be installed. Once it arrived, they were able to install about a week later. But considering the two other companies I called were 6-8 weeks out just to get an appointment on an estimate, and god knows only how long if I had wanted them to do the install, Polk was still probably as fast (if not faster) from initial call to completion than anyone else would've been.
