I recently had Precision resurface two plates I bought at auction, therefore, they were suspect. I sent them down Thursday with a family member who was visiting area, but leaving Saturday. I called them to see what they could do. They checked them to government specs, collumnator and repeat meter.They turned them around to grade A in one day, after stabilizing temp/humidity. One was in bad shape at .0015, and gouged.
Super nice people, family owned and they take pride in doing it right. Came back with nice edge chamfers, certificates, and covered. Awesome service!!
Obviously they cant always turn around so quick, but I was very impressed. Mike at Precision also travels to you if shipping not feasible. I dont know cost for this, but my job was very reasonably priced. It turned out they were black Escondido granite, which is high quality but obsolete now.
