Culinary Pro

I've used Culinary Pros a few times, going back at least as far as 2008.  I would have given 5-star reviews had I been a Yelper back then.  I recently used CP again; this time, I would give a 3-star review.  Thus, the 4-star rating.I've hired Bartenders, usually two per party; an outdoor Bartender and an indoor Bartender.  I've hired Kitchen Assistants and Assistants.  They are generally very professional and neatly attired, as well as competent.  Several have shown initiative which, as the Hostess, I appreciated.   Sari will confirm a few days before, and provide the Contractor's name.  She will call the day after to obtain feedback.  They have always arrived on time and stayed as long as needed.I recommend Culinary Pros when you're entertaining in your home and need to hire help.  I've not used CP in any other setting or context.

Sari and her day-of-coordinator made our wedding an event to remember!We live out-of-state and had an entire weekend series of events planned remotely for our wedding. Due to work considerations, we were not able to get to Vegas until the afternoon before our wedding. Three days before the wedding we realized that we bit way off more than we could chew with an elaborately produced wedding with many movings parts. Sari and her DOC (day-of-coordinator), April, worked tirelessly to make sure the series of wedding events exceeded our wildest expectations. April worked 11 hours straight with no break to get a whole series of last minute items taken care of on the day of the wedding.Sari is not only a top-notch staffer. She is also a great event planner/producer/miracle worker. We had no idea how complicated it is to plan and produce a wedding until the wedding day but Sari made it all look easy and flawless. Sari and the Culinary Pros staff are not only doers, they are problem-solvers. Everything from last minute ice for our party bus to finding a boutonniere maker on the day of the wedding was taken care of. I can't recommend Sari and Culinary Pros more highly. Many of the big casino resorts in Vegas use her services and I'm happy to report that at our 43-person wedding, we received 5 star service from Sari and her staff. Thank you again Sari and April for helping make our wedding day simply perfect!Michael and Pablo

Where do I start with this amazing company? Owner: Sari, is one of the nicest people I have ever met in my entire life, and I'm in my early 30's. She literally saved the day; when another vender we used for our wedding tried to ruin our day. She showed up at our venue, asked for the phone (as I was arguing with said vendor, in my wedding dress, in front of guests) and somehow worked things out so we could eat and have fun. She also brought with her 70lbs of ice, we didn't even order, because she knew we might need more. Seriously, an amazing person and business owner.Staff: we hired 3 servers and1 bartender for our DIY wedding, and they worked seamlessly with our very unique catering options. They were dressed professionally, spoke articulately and kindly, and went above and beyond. When the dining portion of the night was over, without being prompted to, the servers packed up food, washed dishes and packed those up, collected trash, disassembled unused tabled and even packed away my vases and candles nicer than they had been packaged before the wedding. These wonderful people were never caught hanging out, or chatting it up, or on their phones. They were perpetual motion the entire time, and even took the time to make my hubby and I a plate so that we would remember to eat! A+Other: Everyone was on-time, the prices were awesome, especially considering the amazing service we received, and the contracts were very clear.I would definitely recommend this company!!!!! Especially if you are an out of town client and need to depend on vendors you can't meet with before your event.

WARNING. READ THIS REVIEW if you are considering using these people. I literally just sent this exact message in an email to Culinary Pros. I would NEVER in my life suggest working with them. "I just want to let you all know that we are not only EXTREMELY disgusted with the unauthorized purchases to our room by your staff members (which we have time-stamped receipts to prove) [for you yelpers, we had our reception in-suite at Palms Place Penthouse, and the Culinary Pros staff members decided to order $150 worth of stuff we didn't want/need/authorize--only 5 minutes after my husband got in a limo to get to our wedding ceremony], but the customer service that the owner of the company showed during our issue was inconceivable. She was extremely unprofessional, and unwilling to listen to the issue and solve the problem; it was excuse after excuse with no follow up. Not only were the unauthorized charges a unfathomable issue, but the services we did receive were not at all up to par. I literally typed up a one page schedule/to-do list** of what these "professionals" had to do and Tina Beavers maybe did one thing right all night...she was also drinking on the job, which I would have mentioned during our conversation had there been any listening from your end. I will personally do everything in my power to ensure nobody ever has to deal with your company again.**Need I mention that I sent my "schedule / to-do list" in advance and an hour after it was confirmed with "Perfect timing with the email ....Tina was sitting right here. I gave her a copy of both attachments you sent, that was very helpful. I know Your day will be Perfect." Funny, because neither Tina or the bartender had any idea where or when they were even supposed to arrive and had no idea what they were supposed to do. "If you asked anybody that was involved in my wedding in any way, I was the most chill, down to earth bride that walked the planet on May 19. I am by no means over-exaggerating, this was just that bad.
