        HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE: First of all, I live an hour away but was attempting to support local businesses. Dropped my rings off, we decided to size up 1.5 sizes to accommodate for the thickness of two rings. Picked them up a week later and mentioned they still felt too small. I was brushed off as they were closing soon. Two weeks later I came into Las Cruces for a third time to ask them to resize again. Their website said they were open, but they were closed with just a paper sign on the door. I went to another jewelry store who sized them & discovered they had never been re sized at all - just sat in their warehouse for a week and was sent back, charging me full price for "sizing." Furious, I attempted to call to at least leave a voicemail and let them know directly how disappointing of an experience this has been seeing as they were closed. Voicemail was full. No respect for their customers in the slightest.

        I was referred to them to repair a silver chain that I have. Jose helped me and let me know the general prices of repairs. Then I asked about seeing what kind of chains they have. I was impressed with their prices for a basic box chain. I'll definitely be returning to get a new chain next week. An excellent experience!

        If you are passing through Las Cruces and like interesting things and jewelry, you have to stop by Austin's Fine Jewelry and see The Ring Museum. It is a one of a kind museum with rings dating back to Roman times, military rings, school rings, poison rings, political rings, Native American rings, it is a feast for the eyes and imagination. They also have fine jewelry, Native American jewelry and contemporary jewelry to buy. Really nice staff!

      Specialties: Austin's Fine Jewelry specializes in both new and previously owned fine jewelry. We carry a wide assortment of European style jewelry as well as Native American jewelry. Established in 1988. For 26 years, Austin's Fine Jewelry has been serving the greater Las Cruces area. The company is family owned and operated, and has a strong commitment to keeping our business local while providing quality jewelry to the community. While the company is primarily a fine jewelry retailer, it does carry an impressive stock of antique Native American jewelry. In May 2013, Austin's Ring Museum opened to the public. The museum contains over 18 years of Keith Austin's collection, and is focused on educating people about the uses of rings around the world, and throughout history.
