Budget Truck Rental

My wife and I have a good experience every time we rent for traveling.

Reserved a 16' truck about 2 weeks before our move. When we arrived on the day of the move, no such truck was available. We cancelled and went to UHaul. Imagine my surprise when Budget processed a $75 no-show charge to my credit card. My impression is that they are understaffed and under equipped. Had just the opposite experience at UHaul. To their credit, they reversed the charge, but that doesn't correct my negative impression of the business.

2 different occasions now, they did not have the vehicle I reserved. This place will be getting no more of my business.

I wish I had kept some photos of the truck I rented but it was rough. I took photos before I took it off the lot because of how beat up the thing was. Service was horrible. Employee seemed nice but manager or owner that walked in seemed arrogant and cocky, they are the one that ended up serving me. Truck was diesel and required DEF Fluid before I could even get it out of the parking lot. They sent a worker down the street to get a box of DEF Fluid. So, I stood their. Wasting time. Time I didnt have. More time then I spent waiting in the lousy lobby. Luckily the truck made it to the destination without breaking down. All in all I would stay very far away from this place unless you enjoy wasting time, riding in a clapped out beater and love bad customer service.

Do not waste your time and effort renting a truck from this location. I have used them in the past for car rentals with no problem.....will never use them for anything again though. I made a reservation for a 26 ft truck/car hauler and 2 dollies a month ago! When I got to the location tonight to pick up the equipment... they claim they didn't see my reservation!! What a lame excuse! The lady called a couple other stores and then informed me she could not help me and that I would have to leave and call customer service..she couldn't even cancel my reservationin store.. there again is another 2 hrs of my time wasted! After a bunch of transfers to other departments and even hanging up on me I FINALLY got the reservation canceled! Luckily my awesome friend was able to help call around and found me a truck through PENSKE. they went above and beyond to help me and even stayed after there closing time for me. So yes any future truck rentals will be through PENSKE!
