I came here because my doctor told me I should get a d dimer blood test done since I got covid and felt a tightness in my chest.
This place will begin treating you without caring what you actually told them your doctor requested and they will charge you as much as they possibly can. I am still receiving new bills from them more than 4 months after my visit. Honestly next time I will consider just letting whatever symptoms I have take their course than ever visit this location again.

You know, I dont really review places, but Im going to this time. Every person I spoke to, from the security guard to the Doctor, was friendly and calm. They were professional and made me feel comfortable. The best ER experience in my life tbh. The doctor who seen me and even all the nurses were very knowledgeable and did their best to help me. I appreciate it a lot. They didnt make me feel uncomfortable or unheard.

DO NOT GO HERE FOR YOUR MEDICAL NEEDS!! PLEASE READ! This place has been a nightmare! Worst decision I ever made was going to this ER to be treated for a possible UTI. The billing system is a scam. I am being billed a total of $4000 for that one visit. My visit was on 8/2023 and Im still getting bills in the mail from it. Mind you, I thought the bill was half the amount last year got a payment plan situated and then I received another statement in the mail in 2/2024 saying I also owe an additional $1500 for the physician service. This is a joke and Ill never do business with Houston Methodist again!!

Worst place you could ever go for an EMERGENCY they made me sit for over an hour in pain had to leave to go to another ER and was rushed all the way to the back they didnt understand why i wasnt seen sooner here. All workers had attitude problem and every time i asked for help they will just tell me the doctor was on his way and let someone else in that wasnt an emergency.

A piss poor excuse for a healthcare institution. The evening/night nurses are extremely rude. I came in to visit my mother who had been there since 4:00PM. Before I arrived at the ER my mother stated that she fell in the ER while walking to get an X-Ray. Apparently the nursing staff and x-ray tech were not attentive to my mothers needs and were walking ahead of her to the x-ray room. She was already there for chest pains, and now she injured herself even more trying to keep up with inattentive staff.
Once I got there I came to the security desk and said My mother is in Room 2. The security never asked me for an ID, they just told me where to go. Once I walked in to the area where the patient rooms are I stayed the same thing at the nurses station and was pointed to where my mothers room was. This is a security and safety issue. I couldve been anyone walking into the facility, yet no one questioned my identity or asked me to verify it.
My mom asked me to take her to the restroom and said there was a wheelchair outside her door. I could not figure out how to take the wheel chair off the break setting so I asked the nurse how to do so. All she did was motion with her hands. Im sure when she was in nursing school she wasnt taught/precepted with only visual demonstrations, she received verbal instructions as well.
Later my mother became nauseous and I asked the nursing staff for a barf (vomit) bag. One of the nurses came to the room gave me the bag and stepped out of the room. They did not ask my mother any questions about her current state , nor did they look like they were even concerned. I guess since my mother was waiting to on an available bed at the medical center location she was not their problem.
In short, if you have read this message I do not recommend that you or your loved ones go to this facility for your emergency needs. You would be better off going to an HCA or Memorial Hermann facility.
