The nurses are kind, careful, responsive, and knowledgeable. The room was clean and quiet and the food was better than expected! We had emergency abdominal surgery and were well taken care of. You will be in good hands here.

DO NOT GO TO THIS FACILITY. This is what was just posted on Facebook. On Thursday, March 28, 2024 Dr. Julia Nielsen threatened to end my life due to me not being able to speak This morning while teaching I noticed I was struggling to talk and breathethe more I talked, the tighter my throat became. EMS arrived and I was transported to HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest, while on the way my breathing was not so well and still not able to talk loudly. When we got to the hospital the EMS updated the staff on my condition, all information needed and also informed the staff that I had a notepad to communicate with the team! Dr. Julia Nielsen then approached the bed and screamed Tell me your name! You are not using a pen nor paper to communicate with me! (Proceeds to snatch the pen and paper from my hands.) At that moment the EMS stepped in and tried to stop her from committing assault. Dr. Julia Nielsen then shouted, If you cant talk, imma put a tube down your throat and make you talk then, or better yet Ill put him in a coma! Shocked and unable to speak, I just cried because who are you to tell me to my face that you are going to intentionally kill me because I am unable to speak at a fast pace for you! She then told EMS, Take him off of your bed and dump him in the waiting room! EMS refused to leave me therethank God! At the end of the day, please watch out for people who have no regard for human life or cultural responsiveness to the black and brown community in healthcare. Today couldve been my last day on earth due to negligence and lack of empathy for others. Be safe yall and stay prayed up #houstontx #healthcareprofessionals

Very very happy to have been at this hospital! Everyone was amazing from the check in to the nurses taking care of me.. Beyond helpful and so nice. I have never experienced a hospital visit like this one! The best care I could have ever gotten.
