Van's Florist And Greenhouse, Inc.

My experience headed south the moment the woman at Van's Florist answered the phone. She was a rude, arrogant and bitter woman, who obviously has worked her job for too long and should consider retiring.She refused to help with flower types, would not even entertain the idea of anything other than white roses and insisted there was no such thing as blush roses. With the prices right in front of me on their web pages, she was quoting me $20 more on the bouquet I was interested in for the bride. She told me she could not help me with ideas on fresh cut flowers and did not want me calling her back until the next AFTERNOON. They were too busy. It believe it is time for her to hang up her hat and put a flower in the cap of someone who is younger,creative, polite and helpful.

Van's is my ace in the hole! I have used Van's for at least 3 years now to send my mother Birthday/Mother's Day arrangements. It is such a great piece of mind to know that in simple phone call they take care of all my needs even from 1500 miles away. They always ask if I want anything specific and i usually give general tips and let the professionals do the work. My mother has yet to be disappointed!

I really liked the floral arrangement that was sent.. However,,, my problem is that this was supposed to be a surprise gift for my wife. I had to leave a contact number for the person being sent to (why I'm not sure) but now I know. I ordered online and specifically stated "if no one is home leave it with the neighbor" This was a Surprise... so to make a long story short, the driver called to make sure my wife was going to be home and introduced themselves as Van's Florist and Greenhouse and had a delivery for her WTF! Why would I leave specific instructions that if she wasn't home to leave it with the neighbor... DONT CALL HER! wake up people. I'm extremely disappointed and regardless of the price and quality of the arrangement I will not be making a purchase from this place again WAY TO MAKE A FIRST IMPRESSION. THE FIRST AND LAST TIME. THANK YOU
