I called to change my appointment and was never called back. I called a second time and was never called back. I was ready to start. Very disappointed.

Being new I was excited to start the program. Was doing well and scheduled a call with coach so I can put in my next order. But no call and when I tried customer service, they're already closed. So I'm out of food having only started on Week 1. If this is how new customers are treated, I think I'll reconsider other options.

I am a long time satisfied customer of Jenny Craig with a lifetime membership. Recently I decided to lose a few pounds and found that my local center in University City had closed. So, I contacted the JC in Encinitas.They talked me into buying a platinum membership. At that time I told them that I had moved since my last visit 2 years ago and they updated my address. After that I had two deliveries to my current address and all was well. However on the third delivery they delivered the food to my old address. The delivery person sent me a picture when it was delivered and I immediately told them they were at my old address. They said it was the address provided by JC and that I should call them. I call JC Encinitas and told them of the error. First they asked if I could go pick them up as they don't have anyone to pick it up. Second, they said that they delivered the first two times to the same(old) address. I told this was incorrect and they could check with the delivery  company. I should have added that I can prove that the first two deliveries were delivered to my new address because I have Ring and my plumber was at my place on the first delivery.  So....in summary the delivery was made on a Friday and on Sunday afternoon the food appeared next to my garage with no notice. The problem is that two of the three bags required refrigeration so the food did not look good and I put the bags in my garage to be thrown out with the weekly trash. At this point I would still recommend JC but not the Encinitas site as they are unprofessional and poorly run.

I haven't been on Jenny Craig in over a decade but decided to try it again because it worked so well last time. In about 6 weeks I've lost 11 pounds, but I dread every time I have to speak to the counselors at this location (at least since Laura left for the Escondido location). The three "counselors" (I have a PhD and MA in psychology, so I use that term very loosely) always feel like they're reading off a script, are condescending, inflexible and aggressive (not to mention late on more than one occasion). Mindy, Michelle and Courtney feel like they're all very new at this and could use some more training, specifically in empathy. I'm going to try to Oceanside location, since the food and program are brilliant, but can't recommend this location in good conscience.
