This guy is extremely rude, argumentative, and disrespectful to me in my own home. Would not do the inspection ordered by our lender and instead wanted to do whatever he wants. Not at all interested in doing the right thing. Stay away.

I have purchased several homes in my life, and refinanced each. In dealing with Capital Appraisals I find them to be one of the least compitent companies I have dealt with. They are never at their office, and don't respond very quickly to your questions. As a customer you have to stay on them. They appraised a home for me and gave me a value of $75k less (1/3) than one I had 15 months ago, $35K less than one I had done 7 years ago. When I bought the home 12 years ago it was appraised at $10K higher than what they just gave me, then I put in $70K of upgrades and added 1100 sq feet of living space. The properties they compared were geographically close but nothing similar in environemtn or quality of land. When I addressed my issues with them and showed other appraisals them implied the others didn't know what they were doing. Go somewhere else.
