I just want to say I Love the Management and the Maintenance crew that work here at Legacy Park Apartments!! I asked them to fix a couple things in my apartment towards the end of the day on a Friday and with in a couple hours I had Ray the Maintenance Man at my door ready to fix all my problems! Ray is Great at Fixing anything I can throw at him and he does it with a Smile.. big thanks to The Legacy, Park team!

The amount of rent charged is unreasonable in comparison to other properties in the region. The building structures are old & unappealing. Legacy Park is infested with cock roaches. It requires constant spraying both inside & outside the units. Maintenance cuts corners & appears to be negatively influenced by property management who must approve replacements & repairs. Repair workers appear more concerned with 'termination' rather than suggesting a costly replacement/repair. Management has a history of refusing to replace appliances. Upon move-in, our oven was inoperable with heavy soot/smoke odors causing smoke alarms to sound. Upon fifth year of residency, we discovered an electrical hazzard with the oven. The oven was heating while in the 'off position'. We requested a replacement. Management insisted that we provide proof of our claim. Eventually, we provided proof that it was a fire hazzard, management shrugged, but finally replacement it. Water supply is highly questionable, referring to a metallic smell & taste. We suggest boiling water prior to consumption. We showered in rusty water, it took multiple attempts to convince management to address it. Management outright refused to acknowledge disability rights. It wasn't until after I hired legal representation that the manager gave these refusals further consideration. Management is ridiculously unreasonable. Following many month's of an unprecedented pandemic, we ultimately kept our obligation and paid rent in arrears. A payment was submitted in excess of 6,000 dollars in one-lump sum. Management immediately sought to collect an additional 500 in "late-fee's" and rushed it to a collect agency which is soon to be litigated in a court of competent jurisdiction.Legacy Park will likely leave a comment below with a "sorry" and a warm invitation to call and discuss concerns, however, management is insincere. They simply do not care one iota.

I've been living here just under a year or so and I have to say I'm really impressed with the management and maintenance staff. Anytime I've had a maintenance request, they have always ensured to follow up ASAP and confirm that I give permission for entry (I've had other places just waltz in without asking). Also, if I ever have any questions about my lease or updates about my vehicle or etc. Taylor in the main office is super friendly and helpful. The washing machines have all been recently replaced (woohoo!) and the landscapers are here every week at the same time to keep things looking fresh. Not to mention there are families of ducks that live in the complex, they're so cute!

Rent is outrageous in citrus heights. Its $1525 for a 1 bedroom! And rent goes up $100 each year and they give you a two week notice. And thats $100 if you sign a 1 year lease, goes up $125 a month if you sign a 6 month lease, goes up $150 if you sign a month to month. Stay away, super predators own this property.
