Dr. Espiritu has been my PCP for years! Very attentive, quick to see adverse effects from medications from other Specialists, quick to respond to requests, and has a great staff!

The office at Riverwalk in Chesapeake has really gone down over the past few years. Very difficult to speak directly to a receptionist and when you do, they are rude, short and lack basic customer service skills. They do not turn their phones on at the opening of business hours- calls are directed to the after care nurse even during working hours.

Staff very strict about being 30 mins early. They ask why you arrive late but they don't truly care. My drive was supposed to be 20 mins. Because of an accident on the interstate, I was on the road for 50 minutes causing me to arrive 5 minutes before my appointment time.

Dr. Campbell is a joke. Denied care because I only showed up 20 mins prior to my appointment time vs her made up time of 30 mins prior.
Staff rescheduled me for a different date and she was running 45 mins behind and offered to do a condensed appointment for me. She didnt even offer this to me on my first appointment and I was early.
This appointment was made through the Veteran Affairs and I hope no other veteran goes and see this person.

I was a patient of this practice for over 10 years. Every 3 months for 10+ years, 4 visits a year. In that time I was seen by 1 Doctor and 3 Nurse Practitioners. After my last visit I was told that they would be reaching out to me to schedule my next appointment. Three months has passed and no contact. I requested a prescription refill online, no response, called today to schedule an appointment and ask about the refill. Got a message that they no longer check this Doctor's line for messages and obviously they don't respond to messages on mychart either. If you don't care about your health this is a perfect practice for you. If you want a Doctor that is around for more than 2 years and cares about their patients, PLEASE FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE. Wish 0 stars was an option, this is unbelievable.
