If I could rate this practice less than one star, I would. I have been a patient of this practice for over ten years. There is a steady turn over of doctors and staff. My final straw was my latest Dr, relocated to a Norfolk location and refused to refill my medication. Her response was to get someone in the Chesapeake office to fill it, come to Norfolk, or find another provider. It is impossible to get someone on the phone. The wait times are atrocious. At my last appointment, the Dr never made it to me she was that far behind. I do not recommend this practice to anyone. If you value your time and expect to be treated with respect I suggest you find a different practice.

THE WAIT HERE IS RIDICULOUS! The front desk staff and nurse staff are absolutely wonderful. Theyre pleasant, friendly and informative. The doctor however takes forever to come into the room. My appointment was an hour ago, yet I am still awaiting the doctor. Had I not needed a prescription, I would have left. I am beyond frustrated and find this behavior extremely unacceptable. This is how the service is each time I come for an appointment. This will be my last.

I must say that my experience with Dr. Patel and her Team was a successful experience. I am a new patient and I have received great support. I spoke with Miss Terry who diligently communicated with me by telephone and she gathered all the details of my needs and sent a referral for an appointment concerning my health. I am a satisfied patient with Sentara Internal Family Medicine, located at the Chesapeake Square Ring Circle. Dr. Patel and Team, thank you for your service.

I've been coming to this office for years, and the doctors have always been great. They've had a turnover of doctors in this office, but I continued to stay with this office, until now. If you call the office, no one picks up, and you're instructed to leave a voicemail. Therefore, you leave a voicemail & they don't return your calls, nor do they return messages on mychart! This is totally unacceptable and reason enough for me to change offices.
