My husband and I moved to Cheyenne last summer and forgot to have our sprinkler system blown out come fall. Now its February and temps have been in the single digits for most of this week. Today, it finally started to warm up, which ultimately lead to our sprinkler system pipe on the side of the house bursting and a portion of our basement flooding. We called one place and they said they couldnt come out until Monday (its Friday), so my husband called Merritt and they said they could have someone come out sometime today. Tex showed up waaay sooner than we had expected, inspected both our indoor/outdoor pipes, and got right to work. He installed a standard drain system (something the house should have had already, but was missing) and patched up our burst outdoor pipe beautifully and quickly. He offered us some advice on how to clean up the flooding in our basement, too! (Weve never dealt with this type of situation before.) We couldnt have asked for a better plumber and experience, especially after a morning of stress and panic.
