TownePlace Suites by Marriott Cheyenne Southwest/Downtown Area

Booked a two bedroom room a month ago and the day of check-in I get put in a two queen room. Front desk lady could not get it in her thick head that I needed two bedrooms all she kept trying to tell me is a larger group came in, and I got bumped EVEN THOUGH I booked before them. You still have 2 queen beds she kept saying. So I raised my voice because she kept talking over me and Not listening to the issue and she cared ZERO percent about the inconvenience she just caused me. So we canceled and I called in a complaint to Marriot corporate. I would drive an hour further to Fort Collins if you need a place to stay!!!!

We stayed here for one night on a cross country move. Excellent location right off the interstate with easy access to get back on I-80 (very nice if you're driving a moving truck). The hotel is new, has a nice clean pool, breakfast options were good. We stayed in a 2 br suite, it was very spacious and a really nice treat after four long days of driving. Rooms: The 2 br suite was very spacious and had a sofa bed. TVs in the living area as well as both bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a full kitchen.

After telling 30+ people this was a great place to stay I am rating this stay 1 star. To start I went to use my microwave and there was a steak and potato left in there with black mold growing. I took it out and placed it near the housekeeping door, washed my hands and went downstairs. Front desk treated me like it was an inconvenience for them. I came back up and the plate was now directly in front of my door The house keepers were very nice and apologetic and remarked several times they would be really upset but I didnt mind (besides the front desk handling) because stuff happens Next day I was gone from 7:40-5:00 and never received house keeping. When I told this to the front desk they asked me if I had a do not disturb card on my door in a way boarding on calling me an idiot then told me I wasnt due for two days Body wash was never refilled but I did receive housekeeping the next day (choosing to refuse on my final day). The final night I used the oven and it smoked out the entire room had to turn it off wait for it to cool to clean the element. My entire room shook every time house keeping did laundry. I dont mean vibrates, I mean my computer on the desk on the opposite walls screen was visually shaking like Godzilla was tap dancing towards the hotel. I understand things happen but I felt the entire stay was one thing after another. Even now checking out all the coffee is completely empty, not a big deal on its own but compounded I am very unhappy. I am suppose to be back here in 10 days and I was aiming to get back to Marriott Platinum or Titanium this year but I will see if its too late to seek other accommodations.
