Blue Federal Credit Union

I have been banking with this institution since it was Warren FCU, and only within the last few years has the service plummeted. Whenever I try to deposit a check for more than $1k, they hold the funds for as long as they possibly can without any sort of accountability for when it will become available, and they do this on the basis of preventing fraud. They could easily verify any check with a simple phonecall to my other bank from which the check was issued, but the bar is so low their whole fraud department is more comfortable making me wait 10+ days. They act like its their money! Tried to reach out multiple times to supervisors etc and was met with total obliviousness. Will be closing my accounts ASAP.

Stay far far away from this federal credit union. I request my account be closed in September. The bank failed to close my account with a zero balance. They allow the account to continue to be charged. Now they have passed all the NSF Fees to the to the customer. This is a failure on the banks part to properly close the account.
