Landmark Credit Union

Savings account dividends are a joke, regular banks are better now. I used to love Landmark and it's gone down the drain so much since 2020. I went to the Watertown location with a sandwich sized bag of coins to exchange for cash and they said they don't have a coin counter and that they can't do it by hand. I was required to go to another location. How pathetic. What's the point of banking if Landmark no longer banks?

Waited in line inside Walmart for over 35mins!!! No chairs or sitting area!! Average wait is usually around 10-15 mins.

Was there for over 45min (probably over an hour) trying to cash a check. The teller had to get approval from the bank manager to cash it. She then comes back after what felt like 10min at least and tells me that the manager has lost her log in so she is having issues. I stood there for at least 15min before the teller came back again to tell me that nothing was wrong with the check. I then watch as the bank manager goes around and starts scanning my check to send to someone and she never ever communicates what is going on with me. The teller came up multiple times telling me that there's no issue with the check again I inform her that I think it's unprofessional that the manager can't come and communicate with me on what is going on. Then after atheist 45min the manager finally comes up to me to tell me that they can't cash the check and if I had a paper proving the check was real that then they could so I then hand her a letter of proof "how about this" and then she says well we just don't see that you have had a check like this before we looked back in your records I inform her that I have back in 2017 she says oh we didn't look back that far. Then proceeds to tell me that no branch would cash this and that they can't help me.......went to oconomowoc landmark after I got back from my vacation and they cashed it with no problem. Watertown landmark is a complete joke and very unprofessional. I did not go into full detail due to this being public but I will be contacting corporate about this and this really makes me question if my wife and I should trust landmark going forward.
