Best Western Waukesha Grand

Easy to get to. Night check in guy on 4/6 didn't inform us of anything, was more concerned about smoking. When we called to make a reservation was told she was to busy and to call back later. In the morning Anne was very overwhelmed. At 7:30 am the breakfast was empty; no milk, no oj, no coffee creamer, no eggs, no potatoes, no sausage, no bagels & syrup was empty. At 8:30 they had sausage biscuits and gravy & sausage. They tried to refill the milk but it ended up on the floor. A used bar of soap was left in the shower. The lamp was not plugged in but the bed had been pulled out to reveal the wall outlet. The walls could use a good washing and repaint. Parking lot is small. Someone had orange cones in many if the parking spots in the front of the building. It's hard for housekeeping to get the rooms cleaned when a Spanish gentleman is standing there talking to the housekeeping staff on 3rd floor. We hope to stay elsewhere if the need arises. Rooms: Bathroom is crowded. Clock wasn't plugged in. Clock on microwave was off by over 3 hours. Tub was high & soap shelf was very low. Toilet seat & cover was loose. Beds are full NOT queen.

Called beforehand to make sure that the hot tub and pool were open, and they assured me it was. Closed for multiple nights, and they couldn't tell me why. Front desk and staff continually outside smoking, which is fine, but didn't get any clean up or bed changes for staying for a whole week. This could have been better. If I specifically pick a hotel for a week and ask about the hot tub and pool, please honor what I was told.

My wife and I have stayed at this hotel a number of times and the experience has always been good. Our experience on March 9 and 10 were not good. No one at counter to check us in for 30 minutes. Never got call back from GM about it. Called Cust Service. They were no help. I will never at BW again D. Bayne Wausau Wi

Didn't like how the manager was speaking to me or I guess at me. I booked the room then immediately made a reservation somewhere else.

Great hotel, good food, good price. Clean hotel with friendlystaff! Location is perfect with nearby stores.
