The people running this apartment are con-artists or used car salesmen. Im a medical traveler for work & I took a 13 week assignment in Marshfield so I got this apartment ad through Craigslist. I was furloughed after 4 10 hour shifts due to Covid 19 and Penkert Properties Thomas (Doc) Yoblonski Regional Manager would not allow me out of my lease even though this all happened within the first six days of me living there. I had zero income because Im a contractor after that first week. He did not care even though the President was even talking about how people shouldnt have to get stuck in these situationS. The maintenance man Stan checked me in later at night after I drove from PA for 15 hours. Doc insisted that I pay my rent on line but Stan didnt know how to bring the program up and time dragged on to the point I insisted that I write a check since I was starting a new job in the morning. The television was missing from the first floor studio so he went to get me one. For reasons I never understood he got the person living next door from me to also come into my apartment to help him attach the feet of the television. I later learned the neighbor was drunk at that time. The tv was right in front of the air conditioning unit so I turned it sideways and the last two weeks I lived here it fell on my sick dog when she got up and bumped the dresser because of the wobbly legs. In other units the TVs are on the wall so the tv no longer worked. I had to put my dog to sleep a few weeks later too which was hard, she was 15 and ill. The place smelled bad like a greasy mechanic lived there. The carpets were filthy and I felt like whoever sat in the recliner that was provided got home from work and sat there without showering. It was nasty. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable and there was literally no counter space. I took pictures of the carpets and rolled the hallway carpets up and put them in bags. When I vacuumed the main rug with my personal vacuum it was disgusting what came up. The lamps looked hairy there was so much dust on them. I cleaned the carpets with pet shampoo when I moved out and rented an expensive machine because my dog had had a few accidents on the rug. The runner looked brand new and the area rug was way cleaner than when I moved in and these jackoffs charged me for urine stained carpet! It smelled and looked great! I also brought the manager Amy in and asked her if they were going to replace or clean and she said clean so I did it for them. Stan told me their carpet shampooer wasnt working properly anyway because I asked to use it several times. When my lease was up they said I didnt give a thirty day notice & I said my lease ended its obvious I wont be staying here and I was told they would keep my deposit for that. When I just spoke to Doc he tried to give me the run around and claim I was smoking marijuana in my room when his own maintenance guy smokes it, the drunk neighbor who moved out or was forced out bought and sold marijuana to everyone in the building plus got into everyones business and spread it around behind their backs. Bill the drunk, meth smoking, cocaine snorting lottery winner who moved out the week I did was drunk everyday and had 17 cars clogging up the parking lot. Amy saw a drug deal go down in the parking lot with the black guy upstairs who has a baby and a one year old with the far white chick. She complained to the drunk neighbor that they couldnt pay their rent but had money for drugs. Oh and Amy is the one who called the white girl a fat a$$ if you can believe that.
