Do not rent from the Christensen Company. They are incompetent, unorganized, unhelpful, and unprofessional. If I could have given them a negative rating, I would have.
As a tenant, I was appalled at the way tenant-management relations were handled and would not recommend to anyone. They swindle poor, hardworking college kids out of their money; and frequently break the regulations outlined in the lease.
The apartments are in abysmal condition, they are tired and not properly taken care of. To add insult to injury upon arrival, the apartment was trashed, there were holes in the walls, and many of the outlets did not work. At one point there were actually animals in the walls and there was nothing they could do.
If you have a parking concern or maintenance issue, good luck trying to find someone to help you in the management office. The property manager is condescending and rude; so no matter who you are dealing with, they treat their tenants abysmally. During my time as a tenant, they decided that it was a good idea to upgrade the electric system WHILE we were living there. This was not only inconvenient for the tenants but also for the electricians and painters.
As for parking, they do not enforce who parks where or if there are illegally parked cars. I paid $60 a month when there are four or five cars parking there for free illegally. Multiple times I was forced to park at a parking garage and pay a sixth of my parking rent for just one night. They threaten towing once or twice via e-mail but I have never seen any action and I lived there all year long.
I do not recommend this company under any circumstances and I suggest that you avoid them at all costs.
