        My experience with Gold Star so far has featured individualized service tailored to my needs and the specific characteristics of my house. Gold Star assumes a whole-house approach and is not narrowly focused on selling particular products or services, which I appreciate. I also appreciate Gold Star's responsiveness on short notice. Finally, Gold Star puts in the time necessary to make sure systems are working and appliances are properly installed and maintained, yet bills remain low relative to the larger, more industrial HVAC firms.         First things first: reach out via telephone! Dont use the google messaging or calling options. They are unreliable and fail too often. You will be missing out on timely and reliable service, otherwise. I had Willie come out twice now, and each time I called, he was here within the hour to help. Hes very direct and to the point. You wont get any BS with this one. He seems honest and knowledgeable, and has been able to solve my furnaces issues in a timely fashion. One of the best parts for me was that he spent the time to educate me as a home owner and empower me with the knowledge needed to get things done. Willie points out details that no one else has. For example, he gave me valuable advice on how to improve the performance of my HVAC on my own without having to spend much at all. He also let me know some of my gas lines werent grounded (which I had no clue wasnt up to code until I looked it up myself)! Sure enough, the guy knows his stuff. Just make sure to grab a pencil and pad of paper to keep up with all the recommendations, because this guy has a wealth of knowledge in his department that he is happy to share if youre willing to take on the challenge.
