I'm glad I moved back in town because if it wasn't for me going over to help my Grandmother. She would be S.O.L. Every time she asks for help they tell her they will find someone and then noone ever comes to help her when needed and then makes her feel quilty about asking for help because they are short staffed. Umm thats not her fault. You are an assisted living facility and that's your job! Now she's afraid to ask for any help because of that and she shouldn't feel that way. So just to have her bed made. I have to drop evrything and go make her bed for her because she can't get any help. Very disappointed.

I have had the benefit of observing Meadowmere Southport's care for both my mother-in-law AND mother. After seeing my mother-in-law there and the care she received, I had not the slightest hesitation in working with my mom to bring her there as well. The staff is very helpful. I won't mention names specifically (because it's a quality staff throughout), but I will say that I have worked closely with individuals on staff that give a wonderful personal touch. They have a gentleman working there that does sort of "everything" for people, fixing things, maintenance, etc., etc. - my mom RAVES about this guy! Bottom line is that I couldn't ask for more than they've done, having seen dear loved ones cared for there.

We moved my brother Gerald into Meadowmere of March 2020. This was when Covid first hit so this was not an easy move but we were very happy to get him into his apartment during this time. I can not say enough about the excellent staff at Meadowmere. Diana was very instrumental in showing us around and making sure that our move went as smoothly as possible. During Covid we were able to set up 45 minute slot times for visitation outside when the weather permitted. Roxanne was always there with a smile and to make sure that everyone was following protocol for covid during these visitations. Susie and Rhonda, two of the nurses that help care for Jerry, always keep in touch with the family about his medical needs and their expertise helps us all get through some difficult times. Jerry has really come to enjoy being at Meadowmere. I've only mentioned a few of the staff but Jerry has gained many friendships with many of the staff members that help him out on a daily basis. Meadowmere is a very clean and friendly environment and I would recommend this facility to anyone looking for a place where you know your loved one will be taken care of and a place that they will be happy.

I moved my mom into Meadowmere in April of 2019. From the first meeting with the Sales Director, Diana to the on-going interactions I have with Laneesha, the Director along with every team member, they always go above and beyond to support my questions, concerns and requests. It has been a challenging time with Covid; but i feel 100% at ease that my mom is well taken care of. I highly recommend Meadowmere to anyone looking to house their parent(s) as they age.
