Black Diamond is extremely responsive and respectful. Kevin, the owner, is an honest man who builds beautiful homes. We were considering buying one of his lots, but we liked another lot more that was out of our price range (which Kevin didn't own). Instead of trying to sell us one of his lots, Kevin convinced us to try to negotiate the price down for the lot he didn't own.

Our experience with Black Diamond Builders was the best decision, and we couldn't be happier with the quality of our home. Just wanted people to know Black Diamond does NOT follow up on their mistakes. I had my garage dry walled within the one year after I moved into the new home Black Diamond built in Pulaski. The man I hired ( not Black Diamond affiliated) noticed an area between the garage ceiling & the garage door was leaking. I called Black Diamond & spoke with Mark. I texted him photos of the area in question. I also called & had Mark speak with the man doing the drywall work. Mark told him it was just insulation & nothing to worry about but did promise to send someone from Black Diamond out to look at it. No one ever came. Now the area is full of black mold from the leaking. I texted Mark the photo of the mold & got no response. My experience in the 3 years I have lived in my Black Diamond home have been one issue after another from a cracked & leaking basement wall to paint fading & cracking on an exterior door & on & on. On every occasion they have tried to wiggle out of fixing things. Anything that happened after the one year warranty period, they refuse to even discuss. The leaking basement wall was within the one year period but they initially stated that if we fix it then any future buyer will know the wall leaked was the statement I got from employee, Tyler. I refused to accept that & finally they sent a professional to fix it. I would never commission them to build a home for me. It seems the cut as many corners as possible hoping nothing breaks, leaks or falls apart before the one year warranty period. BUYER BEWARE with this company.
