I went through Google reviews before staying here. The reviews were great! Before I even entered the hotel, I knew there was no way the reviews were correct, unless the people who left them were used to staying in not-so-nice hotels. The entire hotel smelled like weed, which my 14 yo pointed out. The room was dark, we were given one bed for 3 adults (no couch) and the room was not maintained. The bathroom had peeling paper, mold, dirty shower curtain.. One of those "can't get clean in this shower" feelings. Thankfully we were able to cancel the second night without penalty and found a much better maintained hotel. Staff was kind an courteous though, this was strictly room/hotel concerns. Rooms: Not clean, not maintained well, dirty and moldy bathroom Safety: I did not feel safe letting my teens walk alone in any area of this place Walkability: We were right off the interstate so not much for walking distance

We have stayed at Super 8 Germantown, WI for years on and off every 3 months. We have seen this hotel become a drug haven over the last 2 years. We have talked to the owner several times about drugs being sold in the parking lot in front of us. He is fully aware about what is happening at his hotel. Last time we were here a month ago there were more people living in their cars in the parking lot than staying inside the hotel. If these vehicles arent leaving every five minutes they stay all day and all night in their vehicle. This time they are so bold, they were tossing drugs down from their 2nd floor windows to the person on the ground. You would have to be incompetent to not know what is going on in this hotel. Our last stay was supposed to be 2 nights. We had thugs around our vehicle. So my husband went down there the 2nd night and moved our vehicle to another parking spot. Then a female swore at him and said what is your problem? He said he doesnt like people standing around our vehicle like that. We dont need gun fire to erupt and damage our vehicle. My husband came up to our room on the 2nd floor and had another thug swearing at him in the hall way. So he walked away. We called the Police. The Police came but said they couldn't do much. We realized why they didnt want our vehicle moved because it was covering up their drug dealing activities. We called down to the front desk several times because we were told by the owner last time to call the front desk and they would take care of the issue immediately and that was a lie. We told them to take care of this and boot them out because that was what we were told by the owner last time that he would take care of it. Thats a lie. We were afraid for our lives and our vehicle getting damaged so my wife called the front desk about 9pm that we wanted our money back for this night and we are leaving the hotel. So we packed up and went to a different hotel and had a pleasant evening. We all know whats going on about the fentanyl problem at the Texas border. Isnt it surprising that these are all Texas vehicles that are selling drugs in the parking lot. They stay for a month or two then leave and then some more vehicles from Texas come and stay for a few months then leave so nobody gets suspicious of their activity. Ive read reviews of pot smell in the whole hotel. Smelly rooms, broken toilets and showers. I believe none of that is important compared to what could happen like being shot, beaten, or mugged in the parking lot going to your vehicle. We have stayed at several super 8s in our life time. This really gives them a black eye and shouldnt have the luxury to be called Super 8 anymore. So please spend the extra $20-$25 to keep your family safe and go to a better hotel. Its not worth getting mugged or shot to save a couple bucks.

My husband travels a lot for his job. He chose this hotel for its reasonable prices. While my husband is a way he always tells me to call him at odd hours like between 2 am and 4 am to make sure he is up and ready for work. He also has health problems. The first night I tried to call my husband I was being transferred to the wrong room. I was being transferred to room 148 and my husband was staying in room 146. The next night I called the person who answered refused to transfer the call to my husbands room. He stated that they only transfer calls between 7 am and 9 pm. I have never heard of an hotel doing that before. My husband's cell phone was not working at the time. I know they probably though I was a maniac calling the way I did. But what they dont know is that my husband had just gotten out the hospital a few weeks earlier and his health was not good. I am saying all of this to say no one calls should ever be turned away no matter what time they call. What if my husband had another episode with his health. There is a reason why people do things and my calls were to only assist my husband and make sure he was okay. I also explained to the person that my husband had health issues. If something happens to my husband while he is staying at their hotel, they will be liable for it. Do to the fact that they would not let me speak with him when I called.
