Very unique boutique hotel with a great restaurant and bar that makes wonderful handmade drinks. Wasnt our first visit and definitely wont be our last.

Decided to stop for a night on my drive back from Chicago to Minneapolis. I'm so glad I found this gem of a hotel! The room I had was SUPER cute, clean and cozy! Loved the exterior patio although it was too cold to sit outside and enjoy it. The service staff at check-in and checkout were very personable and kind. The bed was soft and comfy. My one night stay was just fabulous. And I found 3 great record choices to play in my room! If I come thru Eau Claire again this will place always be my jam!

Pretty cool hotel, def enjoyed our stay here. Parking was in a few different places but otherwise the rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, and the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. We'd probably stay here again.

Nice place, but missing some things that would make it great.
Parking was difficult to figure out. There was one small lot immeidately after a turn that was hard to notice, and I had to call the hotel to find out they have parking across the street. My room was in a seperate building that I had to go outside and climb some stairs for. Room itself was comfortable, but as others stated the walls are thin and the road noise can be a problem. Heard one guy randomly yelling from the next room a few times before he quieted down.
The restaurant was closed, and I didn't see any breakfast offered in the morning, and the coffee was not so great, was very bitter. Was expecting something more gourmet to fit the vibe of the place, or maybe even something like a coffee and tea bar with multiple hot drink options would have been nice. Record choices were also pretty obscure, but record players were a unique addition to the hotel. Hopefully more choices are added. Room also had some quirty furniture like lamps and art work and clocks, and those were nice.
Overall this place was a bit quirky and underwhelming, but the rooms were clean and I had a comfortable stay. Loved the big pillows. Staff were friendly, but rooms were pricey. I would come here again but wouldn't be my first choice.

The Oxbow Hotel, located right in the heart of downtown Eau Claire, Wisconsin, offers a charming blend of modern comfort and rustic aesthetics. The rooms are tastefully decorated with a nod to the local heritage, adorned with beautiful artwork. Another cool feature is the in room record players with a great selection of albums you can check out from the front desk. The rooms were well maintained, very clean, and the hotel is extremely quiet, which made for a great nights sleep. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Huge Thanks to Anna and all the other staff who made our stay so memorable! Parking is safe and easy, and there is plenty of room for your vehicle.
One standout feature is The Lakely, the hotel's on-site restaurant and bar. The Lakely impresses with pub style menu that showcases local ingredients and flavors. The bar has an amazing list of local beers and craft cocktails. The culinary experience is elevated by live music performances, creating a vibrant and enjoyable ambiance. It has a wonderful stage and sounds system.
Overall, The Oxbow Hotel, coupled with The Lakely, provides a delightful stay for those seeking a unique and culturally rich experience in Eau Claire.
