Fine until you actually need to utilize your insurance and file a claim. Good luck, they're maddening to work with!

Awful company. The first time I had a claim in 2002 ( husband was hit by a drunk driver) they had private detectives asking our neighbors if our married daughter lived with us. She did not and had her own insurance. They made our neighbors think we were bad people. Asked neighbors what we did for a living and insinuated we were driving a Lexus because we sold drugs. We were teachers and we both worked 2 jobs. I vowed to never do business with them. 20 years later I tried them again. I was rear ended and have significant injuries. They have not paid work loss, household help and have made me go to 13 IMES. Awful Do not work with this company.

I had Ameriprise for about 8 years because it was advertised by Costco and thought it was the same high quality and value service but two weeks ago I wanted to add another car to my policy and the numbers were astronomically high even though I have a clean record. I started getting quotes from other companies and all of them were really high, they told me that I have a medical claim on a car that was totaled and I explained to to them that it was false, I had full insurance, the other person was drunk, my car was parked in front of my home and I was inside my home The other insurances explain that Ameriprise is using a technique so I can stay with them until they recuperate their money about the car that was totaled and pay by them so they marked me if I wanted to go somewhere else is going to be even more expensive than Ameriprise I didn’t like that treatment and lying after all this years so I left them for that Now I have insurance with the same company that does my house Bad company to do business, I’m reporting them to BBB and write reviews on all platforms Do not do trust this company

I have had Costco provided insurance for many years. As far as auto I have been very pleased and taken care of in every situation. I have also had my homes insured as well, but never had to experience a claim ever, but as of date I’ve also been very satisfied with them as well. I want to give a big shout out to STEVE that helped me today as he went up and beyond service in helping me make informed choices with my new home policy I purchased for our home we are moving to. It’s not everyday that you connect with a person that gives you total satisfaction throughout the whole phone call/business transaction. Steve, I hope your employer recognizes the valuable employee you are and makes every effort to show their appreciation to you. I personally just want to say thank you for being polite, informative, explaining, detailed, & knowledgeable about your job. Thank you!! Amos in Nebraska
