We love Elmbrook Early Start preschool! Lots of care and love goes to each family. The teachers are very knowledgeable and loving. The facility is clean and rooms are big to accommodate the growth and activities of the kids. We have been here for over a year and really enjoy academic program - kiddos participate in sensory activities - learn flash cards - recognize sounds. For each development level they have a program and during teachers conferences, they walk thru the childs milestones. All in all - we truly enjoy being here and highly recommend the place as it provides caring and loving environment.
Special thanks for the teachers and the director - communication has been great and if you have any questions - they always respond in a timely manner.

Elmbrook Preschool offers a warm loving climate to both kids and adults alike. As a Montessori teacher I appreciate the time kids are given to explore and learn through play. Also there are many opportunities for the kids to make art projects. Elmbrook is located close to main roads so it is very easy to find.

elm-brook early start day care center is a professional day care that has a respectful staff from the management to the employees. The day care center classrooms are organized, clean, and spacious.
Each classroom has a set schedule for the children to keep them engaged .

I'd give Elmbrook Early Start Daycare 4.5 stars. Not quite 5 because they are the kind of place that is always looking for ways to improve and be better as they build their up and coming childcare program. But I guess I don't have the heart to take it down to 4 stars... so it appears as 5 (:
Elmbrook Early Start Daycare provided a safe, happy place for my 1 year old. I could go to work knowing that my son would have a happy and good day. He loved his friends and caregivers, reaching out to them when we arrived. This is a newer, up and coming daycare, and could see their efforts as they continually strived to make it better each day.
I appreciated the excellent communication, updates, daily feeds from caregivers, and the genuine natures of the administration. They were very flexible with my unpredictable/seasonal schedule, and continued open dialogue as we worked through solutions, etc. My son had dietary quirks, and they were all excellent at following instructions and catering to his needs. We had experience in the infant room as well as the one year old room. The ladies all did a great job of creating a welcome, safe, and loving atmosphere.
As a side note, I did notice some unique inspection reports posted for Elmbrook Early Start Daycare. I was surprised at how low they graded this program, and upon reading the fine print, was disappointed in their reasons why. After the first inspection, there was an action plan with dates as to when the program would meet specified requirements. The second inspection was done before the date set by the first inspection, so of course it wouldn't have been met yet, but they got marked way down because of that. That's really too bad, because knowing this program, they would definitely strive to meet those demands. From my observations, all of the staff adhered strictly to hygeine and safety protocol: hygenic diaper changes, sleep safety, food safety, check in and check out, and the rooms and building get cleaned regularly. I was not at all worried about that with Elmbrook Early Start Daycare. Hopefully they get a better inspector next time!
I am off season, and my son misses his happy place. He loved his little group of friends there. They were so cute! I miss the sweet ladies who held Hyrum and took good care of him. Miss M who stayed on top of everything and never missed a beat, and Miss O who always had a smile and a skip in her step and cooed precious things to my "little prince."
