Go-Inn Home Bed & Breakfast

Shirley has a warm and welcoming home, a great breakfast and was an enjoyable host! We hadn't planned to spend much time, just needed a place to sleep while in town, but ended up chatting quite a bit with Shirley our hostess and learning all the latest information about Brodhead. My husband grew up there and informed me when we arrived that his great uncle used to leave in the house we were staying at. He had some vague memories of it so it was fun for him to see it again. Shirley informed us about all the upgrades to the Historic Museum so we spent a couple hours there. Even found a picture of Dudley's grandpa in front of his old linotype machine! We would definately book here again. Such a comfortable spot, a great hostess and a beautiful view right along the "race" waterway.

We booked a reservation about a month ago with Shirley. At that time, we knew rooms would be hard to come by closer to Covered Bridge Days, about 2 months away . Yesterday,7/5/2022, a month from the event, Shirley called and cancelled our reservations because her son is coming into town. She said she was sorry but we now can't find a room anywhere near and are left scrambling to find something (no luck yet in several communities). A reservation here means nothing!

If you miss Grandma and want to remember what it was like to stay at her house, Shirley has you covered at the Go-Inn Home. She makes some of the best breakfasts I have ever experienced and she catered to my dietary needs. Shirley takes pride in providing a comfortable and professional environment, and she genuinely wants to know the guest. Make the call and see the pictures, you'll be in great hands.

Great place to stay. The host is very accommodating and offers great hospitality. The breakfast was amazing even being gluten free. Highly recommend!
