I previously resided in the Greentree Apartments on 6th Ave under the management of the previous owners who were fantastic. Maintenance workers were regularly seen caring for the grounds, the office manager was there regularly and interacted with tenants, and all communication and issue resolution was prompt. About midway through my time there, Meeks Rental purchased out that apartment complex. After Meeks became the property owner, the quality of living decreased drastically. The care for the grounds is terrible, trash is littered everywhere, the garden inside is completely dead or overgrown, the shared laundry room is usually disgusting with overflowing trash and machines not working, bags of dog feces and garbage are left in the walkways by other tenants who are never reprimanded by Meeks, communication is basically nonexistent, and good luck if you ever need to reach out to them directly about issues since they will not respond. These apartments are not worth the price they upcharged them to nor are they a company that values their tenants in any way. Just keep that in mind if wanting to rent from this company.
