I've trained on and off since 2005 and imo had the best help around in terms of my bjj development. Justin Bendsnyder is not only a great coach, but a personal friend. I walked in to his academy at 256lbs. He helped me prioritize my training by 1st dealing with weight, my schedule and his method of addressing my weaknesses and strengths so that we could grow. Recently he has helped with my shoulder issues, his 'strongfirst' approach seams to be working really well with my range of motion. I'm also noticing new found strength in what were weak areas. I now weigh 205lbs after almost one year. I honestly can't say enough- Im grateful. Another thing that amazes me is his coach/student attention, how he welcomes a challenge when it comes to teaching different individuals, his ability to find a way to get bjj in an individuals body, and how protective he is of his students. If you're new or thinking about learning bjj- you are safe here. If you're advanced, he has something for you, too. The cats outta the bag

This is a great place. I had no wrestling experience entering this gym. Coach works one on one with you through progressions as needed. Everybodys friendly, and nobody brings their ego. If youre thinking about joining the gym, start here. If you already have experience, Theres some very talented people on the team to work with.

Inertia is a top notch gym. Coach Justins lessons are incredible and his style of teaching is very in depth. Everyone at inertia is super helpful and no egos from upper belts. Inertia would be the perfect place for you to train whether you're brand new or experienced. My only wish is that I would have found this gym sooner.

I live in northern California and have been training for over 3 years. I visit family in Vancouver often and wanted a place to train when I am in town. I stopped by on a Friday evening and found a very welcoming, very humble bunch of folks. They have a very different training approach from my home gym and I found it very refreshing.
