Milgard Windows & Doors

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE I have never seen a company operate with such incompetence and blatant disregard for their customers EVER! We purchased two sliding doors for the house we built and had an issue with one. Milgard has now sent the wrong replacement doors FOUR (4) TIMES! There are no screen doors that work either. When you try to figure out through the vendor what is happening they cant get anyone to give them an answer. I have had the Milgard rep at our house multiple times who can not give a straight answer. I have spoken to the area manager who could not care less about helping anyone with anything. It is always excuse excuse after excuse. Since Covid they fired everyone and now they cant find people to work - no one shows up - etc etc. We were also told our window order would be 8 weeks turn around. It took 5 Months holding everything else up. This company and their product are ABSOLUTE GARBAGE and I would NEVER RECOMMEND them. Their windows are cheap plastic and flimsy. I have no other regrets in my left, but this is one. I wish we NEVER BOUGHT THEM. This company will pester you, call you, email you endlessly but once they have your money you mean nothing to them. They are all about the sale and that is it. DISGUSTING.

Dissatisfied Customer. My husband I and purchased over 60 Milgard windows for our home remodel in 1986 at a very significant cost. The windows came with a Lifetime Warranty, for which I still have the original certificate. Over the past several years the seals on several of the windows failed. I contacted Milgard asking for them to honor their warranty and replace the windows. They refused to honor the warranty and told me they never offered such a lifetime warranty, despite me showing them the original certificate. I took them to court and the judge ruled in my favor and set an amount for Milgard to reimburse me for replacement of the failed windows. Three months later, I still have not received payment from Milgard and they have ceased communication with me, even as interest and legal fees continue to accrue against them. They have left me no option but to file a lien against them for the amount owed. This company is either incompetent or unscrupulous or both.

Junk windows, they dont stand behind the lifetime warranty Frame cracks and glue is junk, customer service is hard to communicate with, they give different managers names, never call back, Lots of other quality companys out there to choose from so I would use a company with integrity. Had to figure out the local warranty reps contact info and he came out and said my windows were bad, every window in the house should be replaced, it was a know issue for that batch. But corporate made some excuse not to cover the know issue with the glue. Eye sore junk quality

Management don't care about their employees, hardly see my wife home and we don't spend as much time cause they are always busy. Is this job really that important than family? They make them stayed for overtime, overworked, hardly see their family, buys them cheap meals instead of giving them bonuses for all their hard work, office people or management gets better treatment than the employees out on the floor doing the most work and the company has no balance at all between work and family. Wanna be a slave this is for you if you don't have a family.
