    We have lived in a rental of Kathey's (owner of RCM, a small local prop management co ran from their home then) for 13 years now. The house is older (1957) I believe, but has good bones... We treat the rental as if it were our own (meaning we take good care of it). Over these years of living here, Kathey has become more than just a lanlord..She is like family! She truly cares about here tenants. Some examples... When we first moved in, The detached garge roof leaked.. She had a new roof put on immediately Easter Sunday my gas range stopped working around year 2..She found somone to replace it Easter morning so I could host my family dinner. Ours is one of her only rentals that still has a washer and dryer..They both stopped working last year a few months apart..She took the time to get us a matching, hi-compactly set with in a few days. Our orginal deck outback was older/wobbly..She had it fully replaced.. (side note on that..it's only a couple feet off the ground..so she COULD have just put in stairs and left us with no deck.. All of our exterior screen and slider doors were upgraded a coulpe years ago.. Our dishwasher has been replaced with a new one as well in the last few years..among a myrid of other things.. A couple days ago, our fridge stopped getting cold ..I called her today, and ..you guessed it...She is replacing it (after realizing a fix to its issue was not worth the cost to fix) I should say as well..ALL of these appliances are good quality..not cheapo "rental" or used. We have a massive lot..(.62 of an acre) We, as tennats take care of the yard (happliy) We keep a clean home and pay our rent on time.. Durring a time where 99% of lanlords GAUGED rents..Kathy did NOT ..Instead, she worked with the property owners and helped them come to a (necessary) raise in rents that was still fair.. I see some of these poor reviews on here and can only imagine that the people behind them were probably not that great of tenants.. RCM has grown into a much larger, but still "small biz" company..I remember when she got her office space We have grown so much together over the years.. We have been friends on Facebook even for several years now..(most ppl cannot say they would have their landlord see their personal lives like that lol) Kathy IS strict...and she does do a yearly walk through...(that i still ocd clean for a few days before for lol)...but honestly we stay with her as our landlord partially because of this! We KNOW that of we ever have an issue it will be corrected under our lease agreement. We truly look forward to seeing her every August to resign..And I usually still drag her around the house saying..."LOOK how clean these corners are!!" Lol We don't really want to purchase a home...and really with housing costs currently wouldn't even have the means to lol.. BUT..If we ever did..I would stay in touch with her..and encourage every person that is a GOOD tenant (you know who ya are lol) to be a tenant in one of her properties.. She rarely has openings though...so there's that...

    Kathleen is a difficult person to talk to. Being put down by the property management company is not how a business should be ran, but that's what we are dealing with. She is the owner, so she has no one to check her attitude nor fire her. This is be your issue if you rent from her and have a complaint. My complaint concerned a rude comment that said we were lazy for not fixing an appliance light and for the maintenance guy to be 1 hour and 15 minutes late for our appointment. This is bad management from RCM and specifically Kathleen. I would look for other properties if you come across one that is management by this entity.
