Daybreak Youth Services - Spokane Outpatient

While my son didn't appear to be ready for treatment, I've never encountered such a caring facility who went above and beyond for my child. So much so that they've left a lasting imprint on me and my family (Leslie included). Dawn is a straight shooter so if you're looking for someone to tell you want you want to hear, look elsewhere. Her matter of fact attitude is what won me and my husband over. These teens do not need a counselor who judges them or talks above them or at them. Dawn meets them right where they are at. I do believe my son did get something from treatment and he absolutely LOVED Dawn. What teenager asks for a second chance at therapy?? She's someone I will never forget for the rest of my life. She didn't just care for my son but she cared for the whole family in a way. If she wasn't his counselor, I'd want her to be my friend. That's how special she is.

I truly believe daybreak helped save my life. The staff here cares so much and the environment is amazing. I walked into daybreak for the first time when I was 13, a teenager with no want to be there or any will to get better. They showed me what its like to feel accomplished and to be loved. Unfortunately I ended up coming back about a year later but this was different. I had given up hope but Dawn and the rest of the staff showed me why life was worth living sober. I will forever be grateful for daybreak and would recommend this program to anyone.
