UPDATE- After having just under $700 a month Avista bills since the new furnace and AC unit was installed by them during peak winter and summer months (we are at approx 3,500 sq feet in our home now after the addition), we called Avista to have them come out and figure out why. Upon inspection, they found that our furnace is grossly undersized and running almost 24/7 to keep up and its also not running efficiently at full capacity. Same with the AC unit. They asked how we passed inspection through the county, because they should have caught it and wouldn't have passed it.... which made me realize I didn't remember an inspector coming out to sign off and pass us, so we called the county, only to find that the permit was never passed and no final inspection called for. We asked them to come out and do the final inspection, which of course we failed because the furnace and AC units weren't up to code and too small for the load calculations..... So now we get to higher another company to come out and redo everything all over again correctly. I can't even believe this. What a nightmare...... save yourself the heartache and find a company that's honest and knows what they are doing. ORIGINAL REVIEW I would highly recommend you don't use this company if you want quality work, work done by licensed professionals, a reasonable price, honesty, and someone who knows what they are doing, because they are the exact opposite of all of that. The only thing they did right out of a $20,000.00 plus (which was bid to us at $12,000) job was replace our furnace when they moved our original furnace and installed it incorrectly in a new spot in the home and then it wouldn't run in the new position because they installed it in a position it wasn't made to run in, so they had to replace our furnace with a new one that would run properly and fit in the new spot. Other than that we have had nothing but problems with all of their work and found out that the person who plumbed our tankless hot water heater wasn't even a licensed plumber (which by the way they don't have one in their company or at least didn't when they did our work) and we had to have another company come fix that. Which now makes sense as to why it took him 9 days to install an on demand hot water tank by watching u tube. (Dave was nice though. I will say that...) They wouldn't show up when they were supposed to, and when they did show up, they would leave after an hour or two working and say they were heading out to get a part and would be back in an hour and then never come back that day, which was super frustrating because I couldn't leave the house because I had to be here to let them in our house and then it would waste my whole day waiting for them to come back! The list goes on and on and if I wrote everything we dealt with and are still dealing with you would be reading for 20 minutes. So I'll keep it short and sweet. Save yourself the heart ache , time and money and find another company to do what you need done. Services: HVAC duct & vent installation, Install AC

I had the privilege of meeting Sean and Jesse, the technicians that addressed the frozen pipe issue in my attic in January this year. Brrrrrrrrr!!! They knew just what to do to repair the issue and to also wrap heat tape around the pipe so that this will not happen again. I am just thrilled, and the price was very reasonable. AMS Rocks!!! Laurel

Horrible customer service and follow through. 1 year Warranty is worthless with this company. We used for commercial systems. Terrible follow through. The company changed what they told us regarding warranty coverage. They informed us our warranty coverage was only with the original home builder (new home) after previously noting it was covered. They continually made errors and took repeated visits to determine the errors they made. We received a letter in which they did not document all conversations.
