Just passing through Spokane on my way further west, this was a wonderful place to spend the night. The Blue Room was spacious and lovely and the shared bathroom very nice. Breakfast was perfect and I enjoyed it visiting with other guests. The home and furnishings are beautiful and I highly recommend this relaxing stay. Theres also a 2-screen art house cinema downtown and a great independent bookstore if you are looking for a way to spend the evening.

Lovely home with comfortable amenities close to Gonzaga. Maybe our experience was unusual, but we never saw the owner/staff during our stay and had to call to get into the house. (We had not received the email with information on how to check-in/out until the next morning.) My previous experience with bed & breakfast homes has always included getting to know the owner a bit. We did enjoy talking with another couple during breakfast and would stay here again, as it is a good value. Be sure to choose carefully when you make your online reservation. I did not, so failed to see that not all rooms have a private bathroom. I appreciated that the rooms and bedding were not heavily scented, as I have a respiratory reaction to those products. If you are sensitive to fragrance do bring your own soap.

Excellent all around!! Holland was the perfect hostess. We especially appreciated NO pets on the premises. Breakfast was delightful!

Ive recently spent a whole month at Mariannas STOLTZ House and I couldnt have been happier. I felt very well looked after at all times. Holland is such a good host. The old and elegant building is beautiful as it is. I was lucky to enjoy Thanksgiving with the family. The decoration for Christmas and soft music elevated the charming atmosphere. My family and I will certainly visit it as long as my granddaughter remains at Gonzaga University.
Rooms: Incredibly beautiful, unique and different furniture for every room.
Safety: Nice neighbourhood
Walkability: Near to downtown and near to Gonzaga University
