U-Haul Neighborhood Dealer

The person at the branch directly cancelled my reservation without informing me because he was closing the branch and he felt I would not return it in time. He or U-haul did not even have the courtesy to tell me why the reservation is getting cancelled. When the reservation was rebooked and I arrived at the branch, the branch person was absent from his office, came back 2--3 minutes later. I was not even sure which door to go to, where to knock. After he came, he was making excuses that the branch is going to close soon - I told him I only need the van for 30 mins, he was still hesitant to give me the truck and was explaining how the branch is going to be closed for 3 days and I might incur additional charges if I am not back by 5pm. When that did not work and I remained adamant for wanting the truck, he was then giving the excuse that they do not have a truck available, I told him I see the truck parked right outside, the 9 cargo van that is all I need. He was so reluctant to give me the truck as if he has already seen the future and I will not be back before 5pm and that will spoil his plan of taking off right at 5 o'clock. Pretty sure this is an employee on salary, the way he seems so disinterested in serving customers since it does not affect him directly how much u-haul makes off me

Super easy process. Booked online and picked up the next day. They do shut and lock the gate at close so just needed to be sure to be on time. The employees were super helpful and kind. Def will come back when I need to move again. Thanks Alice and Tripp!

Wonderful experience. Mr. Trip, the manager, is very helpful: the car are maintained in very good condition, the place are very clean and convenience. U-haul is really a good supporter for moving in downtown Seattle. Will recommend to friends!!! Please be noted: 1. book the Van in advance. 2. do not support on-line self check out on APP, please return the Van before the office closed.

BEWARE: Avoid this location at ALL costs. This is not an actual uHaul location. It's a sketchy storage place that may or may not have your requested truck available. The person in charge is rude, will tell you they don't have your truck, and they allegedly sent you a message the previous day (false, I had nothing in my inbox or spam folder). They will tell you that's it and won't care about anything else or helping you beyond that, since they are not an actual uHaul.

This is at a bit sketchy location, only has two 9 cargo vans, and no after hours phone drop off system. Uhauls online system and in-person booking is not quite synced, I had to change my reservation and other plans just to meet their timings. And I worked through it all, but it spoiled my experience when we were charged for the gas we didnt use. I had the picture proof of fuel levels before and after we rented but they wouldnt even take a look because it was different on their record (which was recorded 2 hours before we even picked it up). what if it was moved in between, it shouldnt be taken out of our pockets. Overall, a chaotic experience!
