U-Haul Storage of North Seattle

They charged me for 360 miles even though I was within the city of Seattle the entire time of my rental (5 hours.) I drove maybe like 40 and they're telling me since I don't have a picture of the odometer, I'm out of luck. Consider that if I did 360 miles in 5 hours , that means I would have been doing 72 mph the ENTIRE time with no stops for anything else (like, you know, moving a bunch of items). Absolutely absurd. I will take this as a lesson learned to avoid this location at all costs.

This location offered me a refund after the last UHaul location I reserved from didn't have a truck for me and I had to drive 30 min to this Shoreline UHaul. However, they then charged me and put a hold on my account for the amount they guaranteed to refunded, and a month later it finally dropped off. I had called them to fix it two weeks into this still being on my account and they blamed it on my bank, however prior to that they had charged me the refund amount TWICE before they actually refunded me the amount. I dont know what they were doing with my bank account, but I do not trust or like this company anymore. Over a month later, the charged refunded amount was finally put back into my bank account.

Stay away from this location!! Worst customer service. They charged extra for missing equipment that was returned to in store associate and for gas when then the needle did not move compared to what I received it. Dont waste your time.

Wow - never thought I would be a huge fan of a U-Haul location but EVERYONE I worked with at this U-Haul was totally amazing, customer-oriented, and super patient. Due to some unforeseen family circumstances, I inadvertently turned into a really challenging customer in terms of making changes, lots of phone calls, needing lots of help, etc. etc. This team, every one of them, was patient and kind and really understanding. Couldn't believe how welcome they made me feel. They will 100% be getting my U-Haul and other rental business. THANKS GUYS!
