Very lovely hotel super close to the Westlake link station and only a few blocks from the Amazon spheres and Pike Place Market. It was a quick 8-minute walk to the market and my favorite restaurants by the spheres, and I didn't have to drag my luggage too far from the train station.
Check in was very smooth, the staff were super friendly, and the city view classic queen bed room I got was very cozy. Super comfy bed and pillows, and the heating was so nice on such a chilly weekend.
I chose this hotel due to its great location and the fact that Oliver's Lounge, the hotel bar, is opened until late and looked incredibly cozy for a late-night drink. I've stayed at several hotels in the area over the years, and I think I may make this one my go-to. It's relatively small and quiet, and it feels both cozy and elegant, and I loved the hotel bar, which is right next to the elevators and so very convenient.

Historical Hotel literally means that. Cracked wash basin and a rusty and stained drain in the bathtub. Unsmiling and bordering unfriendly front desk receptionist who clearly would rather be someplace else. My room overlooked air-conditioning units. When I requested for a room change, I was made to understand that I get what I paid for. Nothing on the website mentions that the category of rooms has poor views. The location is the only redeeming feature. So if what youre looking for is a place to stay thats close to Pike Market and other tourist trapsg, this could work for you. Expect nothing more.

Great location very close to pike place as well as the direct train to the airport. The hotel definitely has a unique look to it, although it is very well maintained. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The front desk was very quick to provide the necessary necessities, as well as 2 free waters a day. The staff is very nice overall great stay, would recommend to anyone who wishes to visit Seattle.

Upon arrival, we anticipated a well-maintained, vintage room, as indicated by the card on the freshly made bed. However, reality proved to be quite the opposite. The couch and bedside tables were stained, and the heating, though operational, blew out dust that triggered coughing fits in both of those with me. Despite the discomfort, we chose to endure the cold throughout the night. Opting to take a shower, we found gross residue on the toilet seat.
Despite my hesitation to leave a negative review, my unresolved room deposit and the overall condition of the room leave me no choice. I notified the front desk, who mentioned they could have moved us to another room if I had informed them the night before, which was impossible given our late arrival and the apparent lack of available rooms, according to the application we used.
Attached are photos of the damages we encountered, including dirty vents, bathroom issues, scum on the couch, and dents on the headboard.
Rooms: Vintage doesn't equal poor kept, go elsewhere.
