    I had to take care of everything from Oregon. And I was told about this place from family. They were very understanding and helpful. I was the main family member who was taking care of my baby brother's death. My other siblings only needed to sign paperwork. I was able to do everything else that was needed on line. I made the appointment to drive up to pick him up. And they still stayed in contact after.

    Horrible horrible customer service! Its bad enough to say goodbye to a loved one, whats even worse is having a funeral home be of no help! They assign you a funeral director that makes no contact or attempt to call back whether it be through email or call. Even when you call them and someone assures you that they will call back there is no return response. We lost our mom unexpectedly and were fortunate to have the money to cover the expenses since the day she passed, however NO ONE from Edwards communicated with us that in order to set the date for service the payment had to be made. In not one of the VERY few interactions when we were able to speak with someone did they mention this!! Which left us with only one date left in December or the option to wait until January, mind you our mom passed in November. My sister and I basically did everything from choosing the services online with no help or guidance whatsoever from the director!!! What is even more insulting is that the funeral director Heather had the nerve to tell my sister and I to please forgive her and have patience as she is busy helping other families!! I mean we are well aware that our mother isnt the only person to pass, but how is that ok?!? We are not screwed up and irrational people. Even the day we showed up to make payment she mentioned again to be patient while she helped other families (mind you there was no issue we were aware she was working with another family). When Heather worked with us, for the brief 10 minutes to take payment the experience felt rushed. The one and only time Heather called us, which quite frankly Im surprised we even got this call, was today Friday she asked when we were bringing in our moms clothes. She explained that she needed them bc Edwards is closed on the weekends and our mothers services were on the upcoming Monday. I was irritated with how unprofessional she was as she called me and didnt have the right information available. She was the one to schedule our date the previous Monday. So Im baffled that she would call and not even have the right information as to when our services were being held. Once I reminded her of the date, she proceeded to say oh let me check that, as if I was the one to have the date incorrect. And said as if surprised oh you are right. We paid over $4000.00, we paid for this service, we shouldnt have the experience weve been having! I shouldve read more reviews, as it seems others have had the same problem.
