The room was very large with high ceilings. It was nice that the hotel was pet-friendly, however, the pet fee was extremely high ($75) and its not refundable after insuring the room was left damage free. On top of that fee an incidental charge is also imposed. The location was close to the event and convention center- maybe a 3-5 minute walk. There were also many places to eat although not really walkable with younger children or in the winter. The pool was quite cold, even for our children. The fitness center was typical with enough equipment but had a terrible strong motor oil smell to it both days I went in. Only one piece of equipment said out of order. The beds were quite low with minimal bedding. If you are one who prefers the feel of a heavy comforter you would need to bring your own. The overall cleanliness was good. We did not eat at the restaurant but did have the breakfast. The cost of breakfast, which I thought was included in our reservation, was high and not included. There was a cold option ($12 adults, $9 child) and a hot option ($16 adult, $12 child). Cold breakfast is your typical hotel continental breakfast. The hot was eggs, waffles, breakfast meats, etc. To also note- there was no complimentary coffee in the morning for hotel guests. Your options for coffee and tea are the coffee maker in the room or pay at the restaurant.
