Just got a call from Russ (didn't get last name) at Inter-City, returning my call.  Inter-City is building a new property on 244th St. SW and 20th PL NE in Shoreline, WA, and have ZERO regard for impact on the local neighborhood during construction. Workers at the site continually: leave garbage (including clothing, food wrappers, cigarette butts) in the street; leave large ruts in yards/right-of-ways along our street where they park (20th PL NE); and park along 244th in a way that limits visibility when exiting our cul-de-sac.  For this last issue (parking which obstructs our view when exiting the neighborhood), the vehicles are not parked illegally.  I am pursuing work with the City of Shoreline to change the parking ordnance at this location. In response to my prior complaints about parking, and having had Shoreline PD out, the company chose to place old "No Parking" sandwich boards on the road, which their workers then move, and continue parking.  The signs formerly belonged to the CIty of Seattle, with a phone number to Seattle city offices.  Clearly, in city of Shoreline, these signs are not helpful (if you call the phone number on them, after the phone tree maze, any live person you get will just give you the phone number for City of Shoreline), AND are being ignored in the first place.  So, the main reason for my very negative review of this company, is the complete disregard their workers have shown for the neighborhood, but even more so because of the defensive and non-helpful response I got from Russ, ostensibly one of the site managers.  The company does not appear to care about relationships with the neighborhoods in which they are working.
